Swansea City boss Garry Monk hopes he's being taken seriously as a long-term prospect for the club.
Monk staked a further claim for a full-time role with victory over Aston Villa.
Monk said: "You know how I feel about the club, the circumstances I've had to do this job in. I'll probably never face a more difficult situation.
"It's stood me in good stead, I've learned a hell of a lot. It's been great. Once you get that taste of it you want more. Of course I'd like to take the club forward but that's a conversation I have to have with the chairman."
