Garry Monk doesn't believe Swansea City can break into the top six.

The Swans manager feels the Premier League remains a monopoly.

“I do think those big clubs have a monopoly on those five or six places at the top," he told talkSPORT.

“But that won't mean we're not going to push and try like all the other clubs to try and do better than what we did last season and try and make sure we have a good, successful season.

“And more importantly, what I want to do as a manager is not just manage a team for the sake of it, but to manage ones that will be remembered like we did last year, and one that will be remembered this year as well."
