Swansea City manager Garry Monk is excited to sign a new deal at the Liberty Stadium after leading the club to their record top flight points tally and securing eighth spot.
The 36-year old still has two years left on his current deal but is already in initial talks over a new contract.
Speaking exclusively to Sky Sports prior to Swansea's 4-2 defeat against Manchester City, Monk said: "I am sure in the coming weeks the discussions will be good and if there is a new contract to be signed, then great.
"Every season we seem to improve, we seem to progress, the squad gets better and the football we take on to another level. You have to manage expectations to be realistic but you can never stop dreaming.
"That's not just the fans, it's the players and myself. You have to dream big, but expectations you have to manage as well."
