Swansea City boss Garry Monk is desperate to hold onto Wilfried Bony.
The striker is being linked with Everton.
Monk said: "The others feed off him. He is also a massive character.
"He is one of the hardest workers in training every day and he pushes everyone else.
"It's massively important we hang on to him - and he needs to finish strongly going into the World Cup.
"He is someone we will look to build a team around. He is great lad - a leader on and off the field."
