Garry Monk is on a bumper bonus to keep Swansea City in the Premier League.
The Telegraph says Monk will earn up to £500,000 in bonuses if he keeps Swansea City in the Premier League, but has not been given any assurances about his long-term future at the club.
Despite taking over from sacked Michael Laudrup a month ago, Monk had still been operating on his playing contract at the Liberty Stadium.
Having guided Swansea to five points from their last four Premier League games, Monk has now seen his contract amended by chairman Huw Jenkins to reflect the fact he is managing the team.
