Cashed-up French club Monaco will not go after Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez or Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes according to CEO Vadim Vasilyev.
The promoted outfit have already signed Ricardo Carvalho and Porto duo James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho with Atletico Madrid ace Radamel Falcao to soon follow.
It had also been suggested that Monaco would be pursuing City's Tevez and wantaway Barca gloveman Valdes this summer but Vasilyev played that speculation down.
"No, we are not in negotiations for Carlos Tevez. Many newspapers have spoken about it, but the issue ofTevez has never been discussed here," he told RMC Sport.
"The Valdes rumour is also false. We are pleased with our goalkeeper [Danijel Subacic]. We will discuss it again with [coach] Claudio [Ranieri] in a few days for the moment we are not interested in Valdes."
