Monaco are considering a move for Stoke City midfielder Gianelli Imbula as replacement for Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to reports from the Sun.
Imbula joined Stoke City for a club record fee of around £18m a couple of years ago but the midfielder has failed to justify his price tag at the Bet365 Stadium.
And it looks like the Frenchman will be allowed to leave the club this summer after falling down the pecking order under manager Mark Hughes.
Despite his struggles in England, reports have claimed that Ligue 1 champions Monaco are currently considering a £10m move for Imbula and the French giants are said to have viewed the 24-year-old as a replacement for Tiemoue Bakayoko, who recently departed for Chelsea.
