Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe has suffered a major rejection from club chiefs in recent days.
Contracted to ASM until 2019, Mbappe's minders have gone to the club to demand not only a new pay-rise, but to make the teen the best paid player at the club.
With pressure intensifying from the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City for Monaco to cash in on Mbappe, there was a feeling that they'd be happy to accede to the player's request.
However, JDD says Monaco have rejected Mbappe's demand. Indeed, the board has shown no plans of offering new terms to the striker this summer.
Monaco's stand suggests they are prepared to sell the striker in the coming weeks.
