AS Monaco striker Park Chu-Young remains hopeful of hearing from Liverpool.
The South Korea captain is leaving ASM following their relegation and has offers from Lille and PSG.
However, Park has heard from intermediaries about Liverpool's interest and is keeping his powder dry as he waits for the Reds to make a concrete approach.
"I would like to have new challenge in a stronger team capable of competing in bigger Europe-wide tournaments like the Champions League," said Park.
