Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is unlikely to join MLS club Kansas City Wizards in the near future.
Recent reports emanating from the States suggested that the former Chelsea and Barcelona man was considering an offer from the Wizards but cold water has been poured on that speculation.
The Iceland international is set to return to English Premier League club Tottenham on loan indicating that any proposed move to the USA won't happen this year.
