Genoa striker Pietro Pellegri is on the brink of moving to AS Monaco.

Pellegri is expected to have his medical in the Principality on Saturday morning.

“We are down to the details for Pellegri's sale to Monaco," Genoa director of sport Giorgio Perinetti told Sportitalia this evening.

A deal has been struck for €23m plus bonuses and giving Genoa a 10 per cent cut of any future transfer fee over €40m.

Pellegri, who turns 17 in March, will sign a five-year contract starting at €1m per season.
