AS Monaco have joined the interest in Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

But Borussia Monchengladbach want the Chelsea midfielder to play alongside another Stamford Bridge 20-year-old, Andreas Christensen, who is already on loan at the Bundesliga club, says The Sun.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, however, would like the England Under-21 starlet to stay with them.

Loftus-Cheek is set to feature for Chelsea against Peterborough today in the FA Cup before a decision is made on letting him out on loan.

The Blues want him playing in a country's top flight if he goes, either in England or abroad.
