Tottenham are closing on a deal for AS Monaco fullback Djibril Sidibe.

Le 10 Sport says Spurs have made contact with Sidibe's minders - and received encouragement.

Sidibe has welcomed the approach and is open to moving to Spurs this summer.

The fullback featured for France in victory over England on Tuesday night, scoring in the 3-2 win.

Spurs are yet to approach ASM about a price, but now know Sidibe is keen on the move.
