Monaco determined to ward Chelsea off for Falcao

AS Monaco insist they're determined not to lose Radamel Falcao next month.

The People says the Colombian hitman only moved to the principality this summer but there were suggestions he had been growing unsettled after reportedly falling out with manager Claudio Ranieri.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho watched the former Porto and Atletico Madrid front man in action for his country against Belgium last month, but argued he was instead keeping tabs on Blues players Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne.

Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said: "He is very happy here, he feels very good in Monaco.

"He loves this club."
