AS Monaco is demanding huge money from Manchester City to sell Benjamin Mendy.

The Daily Mail says Monaco have rejected a £44.5million bid from City for Mendy and told them he will cost at least what they paid for Kyle Walker.

City signed right-back Walker in a deal worth up to £54m.

Monaco are prepared to sell for £54m and have had an enquiry from Chelsea, who want to be kept informed on the progress of Mendy's transfer.

Antonio Conte targeted Alex Sandro but Juventus have set the price at £61m for the Brazilian left back and talks have slowed.
