AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim says he's spoken to Bernardo Silva since his move to Manchester City.

The Portugal international signed for City last week and Jardim says there's no grudge over the midfielder's decision.

"We talked together yesterday (Friday), I congratulated him, he is happy," he revealed.

"Life is an opportunity.

"And I am also happy with the three years that I helped him progress to become stronger than when he arrived from Benfica B."
