AS Monaco are closing on a deal for Juventus midfielder Sebastian Giovinco.

Giovinco comes off contract in June and SportItalia says he has verbally agreed terms over a pre-contract with ASM.

The midfielder's agent, Andrea D'Amico, was again in Monte Carlo on the weekend.

It's understood D'Amico was finalising terms with Monaco management for Giovinco.

The Italy international, 27, is ready to leave Turin, after failing to win over coach Massimiliano Allegri this season.
