AS Monaco vice-chairman Vadim Vasilyev has warned Manchester City off young fullback Layvin Kurzawa.
French sources claim City had an attempt for Kurzawa to attend their Champions League win over Bayern Munich thwarted by ASM management.
Vasilyev is aware of City's interest, but says: "Kurzawa? He is a Monaco player, there is no doubt about that.
"I don't have to make any other comment about those rumours."
