Monaco chief Vasilyev warns Arsenal, Liverpool: Lemar will cost a lot

AS Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has warned clubs interested in Thomas Lemar.

The midfielder remains on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool after turning down both clubs in August, while Manchester City have also been linked this week.

But Vasilyev told TF1: "Today, a few hours away from the match against Paris, this is not the time to talk about the transfer window. Good luck to the clubs that want him.

"His disappointment last summer after his aborted departure? Yes I know, we discussed, but it's the life of a footballer. When you sign a contract, you accept that you can evolve under the colors of your team until the end of the contract. Lemar is a professional, he has experienced this well.

"His value? A lot (laughs). I still have some secrets!"
