AS Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev says Radamel Falcao is already impressing in preseason training.

After two years away on-loan with Manchester United and Chelsea, Falcao is back with Monaco.

"He has already scored two exceptional goals in training," said Vasilyev. "We must give him time, we cannot think that all of a sudden he will be ready, he needs time.

"The qualities are there, he must return to form, but there is no reason why he cannot return to his best."

Falcao also said: "I'd like to score goals, but the most important is to help the team. After, of course, I'm an attacker, everyone wants to be among the top scorers, so it's one of my goals this season."
