Monaco chief Vasilyev dismisses Chelsea interest for Jardim

Chelsea have been warned off AS Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim.

The 43-year-old has already been approached by Roman Abramovich over a potential takeover at Stamford Bridge.

But Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has admitted he wants Jardim to become the club's very own Sir Alex Ferguson.

"My goal is to make Jardim the [Sir Alex] Ferguson of Monaco," he told reporters.

"He is happy at our club and we are very happy with him.

"He is under contract and so will remain our manager."
