AS Monaco are attempting to set up a deal for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Daily Mal says the French club are trying to strike a deal for City's Adebayor in talks today.
Negotiations were ongoing last night as Monaco tried to finance a £9million transfer for the City striker.
City boss Roberto Mancini will not stand in Adebayor's way - and the forward should enjoy similar wages thanks to Monaco's unique tax laws.
