AS Monaco have expressed interest in Aston Villa outcast Stephen Ireland.
Monaco have made contact with Villa to register their interest in the former Manchester City midfielder.
The 24-year-old is keen on a move to either Liverpool or Everton and has been the subject of interest from Stoke and Fulham.
Villa want to recoup around £6million for him.
