Monaco accept Tottenham, West Ham target Gudjohnsen wants England return

AS Monaco coach Guy Lacombe says Eidur Gudjohnsen will play on in England next season.

Gudjohnsen is wanted by Tottenham, West Ham United and Fulham, while he has also received an offer from Kansas City Wizards.

"He wants to stay in England and some English clubs want him, so then we will let him go," said Lacombe.

disagree completely.he's a quality forward,a great football brain like Sherringham, games he played in last season things improved as soon as he got on the pitch.he's also got CL experience.

I cant see Spurs buying him. He had his moments - ghosted in and out of the games he played. Definately lacked pace.

If I were him and coming to the end of my career i'd choose a club where I could play more games. He would suite WHU - a bit like Trevor Brooking?.

Spurs need a big name target man - but a current name NOT a player past his best.
