Momo Sissoko confirms hopes of landing West Brom deal

Free agent Momo Sissoko is chasing a deal with West Brom.

The ex-Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is on trial with West Brom following a stint with Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua and played for the Baggies in Saturday's 1-0 friendly win over Indian side Delhi Dynamos.

Sissoko joined fellow triallist Marouane Chamakh for the fixture, and Baggies boss Tony Pulis will sit down with Sissoko at the end of the week to discuss his future.

"I feel good. I was really happy to play for 60 minutes at The Hawthorns and I am confident I can do well here," Sissoko told Sky Sports News HQ.

"It's been a long time since I left England. I'll be here with West Brom this week and we'll see what happens after that.

"The manager has told me just to come and enjoy it and then we'll sit down and talk about my future. But I'm really happy to back with a club in one of the best league's in the world and I hope I can stay here."
