Mols: Rangers kid will have to deal with immediate pressure

Former Rangers striker Michael Mols has warned the clubs young guns that they will have to grow up quickly if they want to be successful.

As the Glasgow giants continue to deal with a dire financial situation, Dutchman Mols has warned the future of the club that they must not expect an easy way in to senior football, much like what occurred with another of his old clubs, Feyenoord.

"A lot of clubs - such as Feyenoord - have money problems and that has made them bring in youngsters," he told Record Sport.

"But the problem is with Feyenoord or Rangers, there is still pressure.

"People expect them to win trophies and be at the top of the table. But the two can't always go together.

"If you bring in young talent then they need time to develop and sometimes they don't get that."
