Molde defender Vegard Forren says he is thinking too much about interest from Everton but does insist he is ready to step up to a better league.

The 24-year old Norway international has recently been linked with the Toffees who sent a scout to watch him against Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League last night and although he welcomes the interest, he is still concentrating on his current club although there is scope for improvement.

"If it is true then of course it is interesting, but it is not something I am thinking about," Forren told Romerikes Blad.

"I have been able to cope with the step up in the national team and in Europe and I feel I have played well enough to suggest that I am ready for a better league."
