Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being linked with Malky Mackay's job at Cardiff City.
The Daily Mail says candidates are believed to have been sounded out already, with former Manchester United striker Solskjaer installed as a hot favourite to ultimately take over.
His Norwegian club Molde confirmed an approach from an unnamed British side has been made, but a representative for the 40-year-old refused to confirm or deny suggestions he has been approached by Cardiff.
