Molde boss Solskjaer backs Forren for Man Utd

Former Manchester United star Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes one of his current pupils is good enough to play for his old club.

Solskjaer, who manages Norwegian club Molde, suggests that 24-year old centre-back Vegard Forren is capable of making the grade at Old Trafford once he sustains his form in his home country.

"Yes, he could play for Manchester United, but I don't have to tell him that. At his best he is a very good footballer," he told TV2.

"He could play for United, but he doesn't need me to tell him that.

"Vegard is a very good footballer but he has to be focused on delivering and securing his place in the Norway team."
