Molde's managing director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen admits they're fielding enquiries for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Manchester United legend has been linked with the job at West Bromwich Albion.
Nordstrand Jacobsen said: "I can confirm that we have received formal requests, but will not say when they arrived or where they came from.
"Ole has a name and a location that will always make him attractive. And he has a standing in England that often makes him a candidate there."
Nordstrand Jacobsen insists they are prepared if Solskjaer wants to leave but want to know his decision soon.
He said: "We asked for a clarification before Christmas. We talk daily, but do not know yet when this will be settled.
"We are aware that there is a possible scenario.
"It is obvious that this can be good timing for him if he wants to further his career."
