Former Juventus chief Luciano Moggi is backing Sampdoria's move for Everton striker Samuel Eto'o.
Eto'o's agent is in talks with Samp president Massimo Ferrero about a return to Italy for the former Inter Milan star.
Moggi supports the move, explaining: "Eto'o to Sampdoria? At this stage of his career it would suit him ... and Sampdoria.
"Eto'o has a touch of class, but is not as good as he was because age is what it is.
"(But) he can definitely guarantee a bit of class."
