Disgraced former Juventus sports director Luciano Moggi has slammed the club's summer spending.

He said: "This season hasn't started well because of a midfield that has struggled with Momo Sissoko and Christian Poulson - and without men who can dictate pace and movement.

"Furthermore, the purchase of Amauri was unnecessary."
