Former Juventus GM Luciano Moggi believes Cristiano Ronaldo will break merchandising records with the Bianconeri.

Moggi famously came close to signing the Real Madrid star for Juve as a teenager.

He told TMW: "From an advertising point of view it would be an exceptional operation.

"With this system Juventus takes the strongest advertising agency in the world. But then the advertising agency must succeed on the field. I think the negotiation is well underway."

Moggi also said: "When I negotiated for him he was eighteen. Today he is a champion. A champion whose identity card says that he has almost arrived..."
