Moggi: Mazzarri will be better for 'afraid' Torino players

Former Juventus GM Luciano Moggi feels the Torino players will appreciate new coach Walter Mazzarri.

Mazzarri was appointed this week by Toro president Urbano Cairo after the sacking of Sinisa Mihaljovic.

Moggi told TMW: "Mazzarri is definitely an old-fashioned and sensible coach and will practically not do exceptional things, but he will certainly succeed in giving this team a different philosophy.

"The arrival of Mazzarri, perhaps, will allow players to be quieter on the field because the character of Mihajlovic could lead some players to be afraid of making mistakes.

"It is difficult to determine if this is what happened or if it was exclusively the coach's fault."
