Moggi again attacks Juventus summer signings

Former Juventus sports director Luciano Moggi has again lambasted the club's signings made so far this summer.

Juve's new board have brought in Simone Pepe, Marco Motta, Jorge Martinez, Leonardo Bonucci and Marco Storari as part of an overhaul.

"The signings Marotta has made don't seem to me to be worthy of the Scudetto, which is the only objective the Turin club must be looking towards," Moggi declared.

"Martinez for example doesn't give the team a substantial jump in quality just as Pepe and Storari don't.

"Bonucci, on the contrary, is worthy of Juve and a good prospect, of that there is no doubt.

"Krasic would be a good investment but I don't trust those who compare him with 'my' Pavel Nedved. Their hair is the only thing that's similar!

"Anyway, before they make any more signings, it will be necessary to thin out the squad. I read something about 36 players - that's too many."
