Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been stunned by Luka Modric's rejection of a new contract offer. Modric, according to Croatian media sources, rejected a new deal worth almost DOUBLE his existing contract.
The offer would've made the midfielder the highest paid player in Tottenham's history, but he has his heart set on joining Real Madrid this summer.
Real are offering Modric €4.5 million-a-year, while Tottenham's contract was valued at a stunning €5.4 million-a-year.
