Spanish outlet El Gol Digital have claimed that Real Madrid are considering moving on Croatian midfielder Luka Modric to make room for Liverpool's Emre Can.
It would be a surprising move, given Modric is a mainstay in a Real team that won three Champions League titles in the past four seasons.
However, he is now 32, and there is a possibility that manager Zinedine Zidane will want to bring in younger blood into that midfield area.
Arsenal are interested in signing Modric, while Real could sign Liverpool's Can on a free transfer as he is out of contract in the summer.
