Modric delighted with Spurs pal Pavlyuchenko after Cup strike
Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric was delighted for Roman Pavlyuchenko after his goal in their 2-2 draw with Leeds.
The Russian international came off the bench to put Spurs 2-1 ahead.
"Yes, I was pleased for him. Pav's a great player and a great lad and it was an excellent goal. It was a good moment for him," Modric told the Spurs website.

Always liked Pav, he just needs games. Great on Saturday, but it doesn't seem to have changed his mind about leaving...
Pav should play from the start gainst Fulham, but 'arry has his favourites so no chance of that, Pavwas great on Saturday not only for his goal but his allround game if Bae (who I thought was our best player) had ben a it more professional in the last inute and passed it to Pav we would have got through as he would have played time out by the corner flag.
