Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric is backing his teammates for World Cup success.
Modric won't be at South Africa after Croatia's failure.
"Ledley, Daws, Azza, Crouchy, JD - because of that I would like to see England go far in the tournament," Modric told the Spurs website.
"It's the same with Wilson, Gomes, Gio and Seb and Benoit with Cameroon. I'd love to see them all do well.
"I do think England have a good chance. They have a strong squad. It's hard to say though. England have to be one of the favourites with Spain and perhaps Argentina, plus Brazil. Four of five teams have a chance to win it."
