Modou Barrow floating after winning Swansea debut against Arsenal

Modou Barrow is still floating after his winning debut for Swansea City against Arsenal.

The winger helped Swans pull off a shock win before the international break.

"I was told before the game I would be on the bench and I was happy to be a substitute against a team like Arsenal. It was a big day for me," Barrow told WalesOnline.

"I just looking at the match and thinking it would be fun to come in and play. We were a goal down so I didn't need to defend so much, but I like to play big games. I'm happy that we got the win against Arsenal. I just feel that we won as a team, it is all about teamwork.

"I have just been working hard and waiting for the moment. Now I have to train hard every day and wait for another chance. Everybody in the team is a good player so we just need to keep working hard.

"But I'm confident, so whenever I get a chance to play I'm just going to do my thing. The other players have given me confidence every day in practice.

"When I came on against Arsenal they gave me more confidence by just saying 'Enjoy it and do the same things as training.'"
