Vancouver Whitecaps forward Cody Arnoux may not get to stay with his current club when it moves into MLS next season.
The 22-year old is unable to sign a MLS contract with the Whitecaps despite being contracted to the club, who are currently still a part of the USSF Division 1.
Arnoux must go into the 2011 SuperDraft or a weighted lottery before he finds his MLS home which was confirmed by Whitecaps president Bob Lenarduzzi who said the ex-Everton reserves player will remain training with the club for now.
"The league told us today that we can't sign Cody to our MLS team but he is still under contract to the club," he told the Vancouver Sun.
"He'll get himself fit and train and play games and if an opportunity comes along, we would look at it at that point."
