Honduras manager Luis Fernando Suarez has named a squad of 23 players for a training camp which begins next week.

Los Catrachos will gather in Miami on May 12 for a pre-World Cup camp before Suarez adds a further seven players to his roster prior to the team taking on Turkey and Israel in friendlies in Washington and Houston respectively.

Honduras then wraps up its preparation for Brazil with a fixture against fellow qualifiers England in Miami on June 7 before travelling to South America.

Included in the provisional squad are MLS stars Victor Bernardez (San Jose Earthquakes), Boniek Garcia (Houston Dynamo), Marvin Chavez (Colorado Rapids) and Jerry Bengtson (New England Revolution).

Along with that quartet are a European-based group of seven including Celtic defender Emilio Izaguirre, Wigan Athletic pair Roger Espinoza and Juan Carlos Garcia and Hull City’s Maynor Figueroa.
