Major League Soccer has played down suggestions that Bayern Munich is the team to take on the All-Stars in 2014.
The annual MLS All-Star game will take place in Portland next year and reports in German tabloid Abendzeitung Munich are of the belief that Bundesliga and European champions Bayern have already been locked in for the fixture.
But a MLS statement has quickly played down those claims: "We are in discussions with multiple clubs from top leagues throughout the world to play against the MLS All-Stars in Portland next summer.
"Major League Soccer would be thrilled to have a club like Bayern Munich compete in our All-Star Game, but we have not finalized an opponent at this time."
