MLS president Mark Abbott admits they are monitoring developments in Las Vegas.

There is a push for expansion to include Las Vegas in the future.

"I think it's a very intriguing market," Abbott told the Las Vegas Journal. "It's a very diverse community; it's an international city.

"Right now, we don't have a timetable for future expansion.

"But we are keeping our eye on what is happening in Las Vegas."
