MLS continues partnership for subscription-based video content

Major League Soccer (MLS) will continue to offer its MLS Live subscription-based video content service after extending its partnership with internet video technology provider NeuLion Inc. reports SportsPro. Powered by NeuLion technology, MLS Live, which offers fans access to live and archived MLS games and highlights in HD, will be available throughout the 2013 season.

According to MLS, the service, which also offers a host of stats, 'has seen a 125 per cent growth in subscriptions each and every year since migrating to NeuLion's technology platform' in 2010.

"Our partnership with NeuLion helps us deliver a soccer experience for our fans which is crucial for our digital strategy," said Chris Schlosser, vice president of MLS Digital.

"With the tremendous success of MLS Live, we are excited to continue to add even more ways for our fans to enjoy all the action for this season."
