MLS Commissioner Don Garber says all is positive regarding David Beckham's mooted entry into franchise ownership.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy midfielder will exercise a clause in his MLS contract to allow him the opportunity to become involved in a new franchise and Garber is confident it will go ahead.
"We think it would be terrific to have David involved in our league. We will continue discussions with him for sure," he said.
Beckham is being heavily linked with a MLS franchise in Miami which will be backed by Bolivian billionaire Marcelo Claure.
