MLS clubs DC United and Colorado Rapids along with expansion franchises Portland and Vancouver have reportedly sent representatives to Ghana.
The club officials are in the West African nation on a scouting mission which was first revealed by United's technical director Chad Ashton to the Washington Post's Soccer Insider a few weeks ago.
As the quality and standard of MLS improves, clubs are seeking better players to compete with their opponents and it is likely that more of these scouting missions will take place moving forward.
