MLS chiefs are seeking talks with released West Ham United midfielder Joe Cole.
The Daily Star says Cole, a free agent after being shown the door at Upton Park, is believed to be on MLS Commissioner Don Garber's hit-list.
Ex-England winger Cole, 32, could earn a bumper final payday in the States as one of the league's designated players.
