MLS chiefs are ready to move for Villarreal midfielder Robert Pires.
The former Arsenal star, 33, is off contract at the end of this season and yet to hear from Villarreal about a new deal.
MLS powerbrokers want to take Pires to the USA and a deal with the Colorado Rapids, which has a relationship with Arsenal, is being mooted.
