MLS chief Garber not confident of Beckham stay

LA Galaxy star David Beckham will more than likely not be returning to MLS in 2012 according to Commissioner Don Garber.

The English veteran has spent five years in North America's domestic league, culminating in this season's MLS Cup triumph, but Garber feels that he will be off now that his contract is up.

"I hope he remains in Major League Soccer and continues his career in the United States, sitting here today I'm not sure that will happen," Garber said.

"It's been a great five-year experience for us, he's delivered on all the expectations that we've had."

Beckham continues to be linked with French giants Paris Saint-Germain whilst some clubs in England are also believed to be sniffing around.
